MyAuroraYoga Studio

Your personal yoga & pilates studio in Voorschoten

Are you ready to live in a pain free body?

MyAuroraYoga is your boutique yoga studio right in the heart of Voorschoten.

Here, it’s all about you. Our group classes are designed to help you move with ease, reconnect with your body, and feel your best (farewell tension, hello freedom of movement and a clutter free mind).

All in a down-to-earth, welcoming atmosphere—with a touch of luxury (yes, heated yoga mats during yin yoga!) and just the right amount of humour, because life is already serious enough.

MyAuroraYoga is located at Spring Wellness in Voorschoten

We know what you might be thinking…

𓇬 I’m really not flexible enough…

𓇬 What if I can’t do it?

𓇬 I’m far too restless to relax…

Here’s the thing: if nothing changes, your body will just keep feeling stiff and tense.

Yoga is for you. Your mat is your safe space, your playground—no matter what anyone else is doing around you (and yes, we all started somewhere).

And if you feel too restless to relax? That’s actually the biggest sign your nervous system is craving that little pocket of calm.

Our group classes are about so much more than twisting yourself into a pretzel and then trying to untangle again.

✨ At MyAuroraYoga, it’s about moving together and growing together.

✨ It’s about building a kinder, stronger relationship with yourself.

✨ It’s about letting go—for a moment not having to “do” anything.

And the best part? You don’t do it alone. We do it together—guided by expert teachers who understand anatomy (and how every body is different), yoga philosophy, and the art of creating a safe, welcoming space for you.

Our values

A personal approach, even in our group classes

No two bodies are the same—which means in our group classes you’ll always be offered different options, so you can adapt the practice to what you need that day.

The studio belongs to all of us

At MyAuroraYoga, we hope it feels a little like a second home for you. We love hearing your thoughts and always enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of tea after class. And just like on the mat—nothing is expected, everything is welcome.

Stress reduction is our expertise

We all feel stress—and in the short term, it’s actually useful! (Hello, focus right before that deadline.)

But when it sticks around, stress shows up as aches, fatigue, and a cluttered, busy mind. At MyAuroraYoga, we focus on a holistic way to release stress from the body. Busy schedule? Endless to-do list? Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered!

New to our studio in Voorschoten?

Our Teachers

Aurora de Leeuw

Aurora is a passionate yoga teacher from Rijswijk. During her busy student days in Leiden—where she juggled three degree programmes—Aurora experienced the highs and lows of stress firsthand. It was through yoga that she found relief from physical aches and discovered a sense of mental calm.

Aurora has now been teaching yoga for over nine years and specialises in anatomy and stress-related challenges. Alongside running MyAuroraYoga with the support of an amazing team, she is also pursuing a PhD in legal philosophy, with yoga helping her maintain the balance between effort and relaxation.

Aurora teaches Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Early Bird Pilates and (Gentle) Yin Yang on Tuesday, Wednesday,  Thursday and Saturday.

Jasmine James

With over 10 years of experience in fitness and Pilates, Jasmine helps people improve their strength, mobility, and body awareness. With a background in dance, she brings a unique perspective to movement. Combined with her expertise as a sports massage therapist, this creates a well-balanced approach where recovery and performance go hand in hand.

“I believe in training that not only delivers results, but also supports a strong, flexible, and energised body. Together we’ll work towards your goals, with a focus on technique, control, and overall wellbeing!”

Jasmine teaches Pilates on Wednesday evenings at MyAuroraYoga.

Maria Bondar

Maria is a curious person by nature: she’s always exploring the links between our habits on and off the mat. Do you push through even when you’re tired? Do you dare to try something new or stick with what you already know? Do you notice small progress or only focus on what’s “not there yet”?

“I see yoga as a way to connect more deeply with ourselves – our bodies, emotions, and thoughts – and, of course, with the people around us. My own yoga journey definitely transformed my life. Through my practice I’ve built inner strength, completely changed my breathing pattern and improved my life outside the mat.”

Maria believes growth comes through small, daring steps – “a lesson I am definitely still mastering myself! My goal is to create a space where you can build strength, find calmness, and maybe have a few little “aha!” moments about yourself.”

Maria teaches Hatha Vinyasa and Yin Yoga on Tuesday evening at MyAuroraYoga.

Yoga Challenge – starting 14th of October 2025

Aurora will be back from maternity leave on October 14th & we’re celebrating this with something special.

You’ve voted & we are bringing back the Yoga Challenge!

How does the yoga challenge work?

  • The Yoga Challenge starts on October 14th 2025 (when Aurora comes back from her maternity leave).

  • Finish 25 in studio classes before the 31st of December.

  • Book your classes with your regular membership or class card.

  • Do you finish the challenge successfully? Then you will receive free access to the online MyAuroraYoga studio for 1 month.

Good to know:

  • All in studio classes count towards the 25 classes (all yogaclasses, YoPi and Pilates).

  • You will receive a stamp card, on which you can follow your progress (note: you will receive two cards, 1 card = 20 stamps – you will need 25 to complete this challenge).

And that’s not all: if you finish the challenge successfully, you will enter a raffle to win even more prices (including an unlimited membership to start the new year off strong!)

FAQ

Classes

I have an injury / physical challenge, can I still join the classes?

Yes, in most cases this is absolutely fine! Our teachers are trained to work with all kinds of bodies and with many common injuries.

Not sure if your injury or physical challenge could be a limitation for yoga or Pilates? Feel free to email your question to info@auroradeleeuw.com. Aurora will be happy to advise you on which classes might suit you best, or which variations we can offer during class.

I have an injury / physical challenge and I mentioned this in the intake form—are all teachers aware of it?

We always recommend letting the teacher know before class if you think your injury might affect the way you participate. If you practise regularly with the same teacher, chances are we’ll remember—but a little reminder (or a quick update) is always appreciated 😉.

Are you pregnant? Please always let your teacher know (even in the early stages). That way we can best look after your health and your baby’s.

What level are the classes?

Our classes are open to everyone—from beginners to experienced practitioners. The intensity of each class can vary, and you’ll find this listed in the schedule. If there’s no specific mention, the class is accessible to all levels.

Is there a minimum number of sign-ups required for a class to go ahead?

Yes, classes at MyAuroraYoga will run with a minimum of 2 participants. If you’re the only one signed up, you’ll automatically receive an email from our system letting you know the class has been cancelled—the evening before (for a morning class) or in the morning (for an evening class). Any credits used will be returned to your account automatically.

I can’t log into my account, what should I do?

If you’re having trouble logging in to book a class, please check that you’re loggin in in the right system. The online platform for MyAuroraYoga (where you’ll find the online studio and online courses) is a separate system from the booking system for the Voorschoten studio.

To log in for the studio in Voorschoten: log in via Supersaas. Forgotten your password? You can request a new one by clicking “forgot password” on the login page.

To log in for the online studio or online courses: you can log in directly through our own website.

Important: Do you have a membership? Memberships are managed via our website as well. After logging in, simply click on my account” > “subscriptions to manage your active memberships.

We know using two different systems can be a little confusing—unfortunately, at the moment we don’t have the option (yet) to integrate them into one system.

Do you offer English spoken classes?

We offer several English spoken classes: you can recognise these classes by the label (ENG) behind the classname. If nothing is mentioned, the class’ main language is Dutch.

However, all our Dutch teachers are fluent in English – so even if you’re not fluent in Dutch, you can still join the Dutch spoken classes (we will make sure that your personal adjustments and options are communicated with you in English).

Memberships and Class Cards

What’s the difference between a membership and a class card?

If you join us every week (or several times a week), a membership is the most cost-effective option. Please note: memberships are only available in limited numbers. If no memberships are currently available, or when we expand the number of spots, this will always be announced through our newsletter.

If you don’t come every week, or prefer a little more flexibility in when you practise, then a class card is the best choice.

I have a 1x or 2x per week membership, but I couldn’t make it this week—can I make up the class another week?

Yes, you can! We use a credit system. For example, with a 1x per week membership you’ll receive 5 credits per month. If you miss a week, you can carry that unused credit forward and use it another time within the following month.

Example 1: You have a 1x per week membership (5 credits per month). You attend 3 weeks in the month and miss the others. You carry your unused credits into the next month, giving you 7 credits. If you don’t use them all that month, the carried-over credits will expire, and the following period starts again with 5 credits.

Example 2: You have a 1x per week membership (5 credits per month). You attend 2 weeks once a week, skip a week, and then attend 3 times in the last week. You’ll still use up all your monthly credits within that month.

I want to buy a membership, but the price showing at checkout is lower than the listed price—why is that?

Our memberships are synchronised on the 1st of each month. This means that when you first purchase your membership, you may pay a reduced amount to cover only the remaining time in the current month.

When can I cancel my membership?

Memberships run for a minimum of 3 months. After this period, they can be cancelled monthly. Cancellations can be made via your account on our website.

I’ve bought a membership but I can’t book any classes yet—why not?

It can take up to 24 hours after purchasing for your credits to be added to your Supersaas account. Don’t have a Supersaas account yet? Please create one to access the studio schedule.

The reason it takes a little time is that credits are manually linked to your account behind the scenes.

Would you like to attend a class within 24 hours of purchasing? Check the schedule to see if there’s space available. If there is, you can simply join the class. Let the teacher know you’ve already purchased your membership but it hasn’t yet been activated—they’ll make a note and your class credits will be adjusted once the membership is linked.

Where can I see how many credits I have left?

Once logged in to Supersaas, click on “settings” (top right on desktop). A page called “edit your information” will appear. At the bottom you’ll see “credit” with the number of credits you currently have (this balance excludes credits already reserved for upcoming booked classes).

Cancellation Policy

I’ve booked a class but can no longer make it—until when can I cancel?

You can cancel a booked class yourself via your Supersaas account up to 4 hours before the class starts. When logged in, click on the schedule to see the classes you’re signed up for (recognisable by a green tick). Click on the class you wish to cancel, and your booking will appear. Then click the “paper & pencil” icon next to your name. A “change booking” window will open—click on the bin icon to cancel. Your booking will now be removed and the credit returned to your account (with the exception of unlimited memberships, since credits there are unlimited).

If you cancel less than 4 hours before the class, or if you don’t show up, the class will still be charged. For unlimited memberships: if you cancel too late or don’t show up three times, a €5 fee will apply.

Please note: During Aurora’s maternity leave, a temporary cancellation window applies: you can cancel your class up to 8 hours in advance (instead of 4).

The only exception is if the class has a waiting list and another participant can take your spot—this can be done up to 1 hour before the class starts.

For morning classes: If you can’t make it, we kindly ask that you cancel by 20:00 the evening before. This gives others the chance to book a place in time.
